Qui est Yasmine Torjeman

De son enfance dorée dans la banlieue chic de Tunis à son mariage avec le ministre français de l’Immigration, le 12 septembre dernier, la vie a déjà beaucoup souri à Yasmine Tordjman.

Autour d’elle, sa famille avait- dressé un mur du silence à propos de sa liaison avec Éric Besson. L’ordre, dit-on, serait venu de Paris. Mais en Tunisie, la loi du silence est presque une habitude. Issue des familles Tordjman, côté paternel, et Turki, côté maternel, des noms connus et respectés dans la bourgeoisie tunisoise née dans le sillage du beylicat ottoman, Yasmine a grandi dans le quartier « VIP » de Marsa Cube, sur les rivages du golfe de Tunis. Plus précisément dans le périmètre devenu le fief du clan Ben Ammar il y a un demi-siècle. C’est là qu’autour de « la maison de Wassila », seconde épouse de Bourguiba, la plupart des membres de la famille et alliés ont fait construire des villas, avec accès direct sur la plage. Celle des parents de Yasmine, sur deux niveaux, est moderne et spacieuse.
